Amongst professional athletes, Phil Richards is regarded as one of the leading strength, conditioning and nutrition experts in the world. He has prepared professional boxers for title fights, led premiership rugby teams to league titles & cup finals and transformed the careers of professional athletes in many sports and disciplines. Phil is regarded as the trainer who revolutionised strength and conditioning in professional rugby.

Phil regularly lectures and consults for elite athletes and teams as well as running workshops and seminars based on the principles and knowledge he has gained over a 25 year career of working with some of the World’s leading experts in his field. Phil has probably interned with more experts in the field of strength, conditioning and nutrition than any other coach in the world. Phil also holds various qualifications in clinical, medical and sports nutrition and is also an advanced cellular nutritional microscopist. 

 

Phil is also Europe’s first Westside Barbell Certified Strength Coach which is like the Phd in the strength training world.

Throughout Phil’s successful career he has worked with and consulted for the ‘who’s who’ in world sport including: Amir Khan (World Champion Boxer), Worcester Warriors (Professional Rugby), Worcester County Cricket, Somerset County Cricket, London Harlequins (Professional Rugby), Swansea RFC (Professional Rugby), Leicester Tigers, (Professional Rugby), Wigan Warriors (Rugby League), Hull KR (Rugby League), Bolton Wanderers (Professional Football), Glenn Ross (World Masters Strongest Man), Nick Dunn (World Triathlon Champion), Stuart Stokes (Olympian Steeplechaser) and many, many more. 

 

 

Phil Richards has dedicated his life to finding out exactly what really works in the field of nutrition, strength and conditioning - and his track record is undeniable. Phil gets results! Phil was and still is a true pioneer in the field of strength, conditioning and nutrition and was the first European strength coach to work at Westside Barbell and become a certified Westside Strength Coach. Phil was also the first European to intern with Charlie Francis, Charles Poliquin and Dr. Eric Serrano. Phil also has qualifications in nutritional microscopy, clinical nutrition, medical nutrition and a BSc in sports nutrition.
