I receive multiple calls and messages every week from people who ask, “What can I do to improve my health, performance and lose body fat?” My response is genuine… “I have no absolutely no idea.” The reason I may appear so ignorant is that unless I know what your blood results are, there is no way for me to identify what steps you should take to improve your health, body fat composition as well as physical and mental performance.
For example, from the many hundreds of blood chemistry analysis I’ve looked at many people have dangerously high levels of ferritin, homocysteine, omega 6 fats, GGT, TMAO and CRP you may not be familiar with these markers, but they can when elevated be genuinely catastrophic to your health, performance and body fat levels. Consuming a diet that regularly contains animal & dairy produce these markers will simply rise and make matters potentially a lot worse and for a short period of time it would be wise to decrease these foods or even eliminate them from your diet until your health returns.
Alternatively you could be someone trying to lose body fat and gain some muscle let’s face it that’s why most of us go to the gym but if you have low progesterone, low DHEA, low testosterone, elevated oestrogen, elevated sex hormone binding globulin, gut dysbiosis, poor liver function, low stomach acid, low vitamin D and poor thyroid function which is also very common from my analysis then you can train as hard as you like but you simply won’t see any significant changes until you fix the above and that’s an absolute fact.
