Why Choose Infant-D - Vitamin D For Toddlers?

We all need to supplement vitamin D daily Vitamin D is required for the absorption of calcium and phosphate in the body and for healthy bones, teeth and muscles. Our vitamin D chewable tablets are perfect for all the family to use and have been shown in published clinical studies to completely resolve deficiency in vitamin D deficient adults.

Vitamin D is a fat-soluble steroid hormone that supports the intestinal absorption of calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphate, and zinc. The two main forms of vitamin D are D3 (also known as cholecalciferol) and D2 (ergocalciferol).

D3 is the naturally occurring form of vitamin D that is produced by the human body when the skin makes contact with direct sunlight. Vitamin D3 can also be derived from animal sources and D2 is the form of vitamin D found in plants.

D3 (found in EveryDay-D) has been found to be twice as effective as D2 at raising the levels of vitamin D in the human body.
